A Glimpse into Our Consultancy Work
Our application showcased our work over the last 18 months, including Woodstock Homes’ Baily Court development in Downend, Bristol. For this project, we provided full Part L, F & O compliance services, including SAP calculations, overheating risk assessments, and air tightness and ventilation testing.
Our proactive and phased approach involved early engagement for detailed SAP calculations and targeted dynamic thermal modelling for Part O issues. Crucially, our preliminary air tightness testing on one plot provided vital data that helped all nine plots achieve first time air test passes during final testing.
The results speak for themselves: all properties achieved an ‘A’ rating on their EPCs, ensured full compliance with Part L, F and O of the building regulations, and passed all final air tightness tests first time. This perfectly exemplifies how our comprehensive consultancy, from initial design advice to final certification, streamlines processes, avoids costly delays, and helps deliver high quality, energy efficient homes.
